Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals (1977)

While undercover at a mental institution, exotic beauty/investigative journalist Emanuelle (Laura Gemser) sees a nurse get one of her breasts gnawed off by a patient. She's so intrigued by this event that she slips into the patient's room, pulls up the restrained woman's gown and photographs her vulva. While showing the photos to her editor, she notices a strange tattoo above the woman's "pubic region." A staff researcher at the paper informs her that the tattoo is worn by members of a cannibalistic tribe in the Amazon that's long been thought extinct. Her editor suggests that she take a trip to South America to find out what's going on, but Emanuelle isn't sure it's such a good idea. She goes to see an anthropologist (Gabriele Tinti) who's an expert on cannibalism. He shows her a film of a guy getting his penis chopped off and Emanuelle says, "Sign me up." They leave the next day, but before their departure Emanuelle has time for a quickie with the anthropologist and a bon voyage fuck from her boyfriend. When they arrive in South America, they visit the professor's friend, who sends them off into the jungle with his daughter Isabelle (Monica Zanchi) and a nun (Annamaria Clementi). As you'd expect, it isn't long before Emanuelle and Isabelle have to stop and wash each other, inside and out, in a lake. Then they meet up with an impotent hunter (he can't get it up when he's with his wife, but he still likes to spy on the ladies as they sleep, nightgowns bunched up around their mid-torsos so their crotches can breathe -- it's hot down there in the jungle, you understand), Donald (Donald O'Brien), and his sexually insatiable wife (she often has to sneak off with the hired guides to get her needs met), Maggie (Nieves Navarro). Then the action starts. Not the sex action -- that started thirty seconds into the film and never stops for long. The cannibal action, what little there is of it. The film is fairly heavy on sex (of the softcore, Emanuelle-style variety) and nudity, but somewhat light on violence (which isn't to say there isn't any -- nipples get sawed off and eaten, people are disemboweled and their entrails devoured, and Donald meets his demise in a creative fashion). Fortunately, there's no real animal abuse in this one, unless you count the chimpanzee who smokes a cigarette while watching Emanuelle and Isabelle explore each other's womanhood.

Did you realize they had chimpanzees in South America? 

I didn't either. They also have alligators, apparently.

One of my favorite things about this one is the dubbed dialogue, particularly the part in which Emanuelle asks Donald what he's doing in the jungle. Donald's reply:
