Amazonia: The Catherine Miles Story (1985)

I first saw this film around twenty years ago under the title White Slave. According to IMDb, it's also been released as Forest Slave, Cannibal Holocaust 2, and Captive Women VII. It's a beautifully photographed work, somewhat tamer than many of its cannibal/jungle predecessors, but still rife with exploitation elements. Elvire Audray, who plays Catherine Miles, is nude or semi-nude throughout pretty much the entire film. The film contains the obligatory animal deaths (a leopard killing first a deer and later a monkey -- no humans killing, mutilating, or torturing animals, I'm happy to say), bug-eating, and scenes of torture. When the natives learn that Catherine isn't yet "a woman," they take her virginity with what looks like a hunk of sugarcane in a ritual that all the tribe's females apparently have to go through upon reaching puberty. When one of the tribespeople commits adultery, he's hung upside down, his face is smeared with honey, and he's left to be devoured by insects. In one scene, two distant relatives of Sarah Palin fly over the natives' village in a helicopter and start picking off its inhabitants with a rifle. At one point they mow down a naked eight-year-old kid and then finish him off with a head shot that blows his skull to pieces and sends his brains flying (this is shown in close-up in order that no one will leave the theater wondering whether the child might've survived). There are decapitations aplenty, and it looks like the make-up department spent so much time getting the severed heads just right that they insisted on having the natives carry them around through half the film. All in all, I found it to be an enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half.
